i need to ask you something Mark, why are you doing this? Your pictures make me feel sick, their not right. infact they have upset me actualy and thats why i decided to ask you myself. the materials you use too? what's wrong with you? just why are you doing this, it's FUCKING WRONG. life should be happiness and love and care, this is just horrible. it's disgusting . it is horrifying. please tell me why you think this is right, IT ISNT ART ITS DISGUSTING.
sit there and laugh if you want too, thinking you've "trolled" me because I'm upset. But I don't even care, this is just fucking disgusting and twisted and wrong. You're just making this world even worse by making and producing this "ART", you are hurting ME and hurting these creatures. why do you think this "Art" is right Mark? Are these your sick fantasies ? Please tell me.

Your art IS disturbing, there is no denying that.
But that doesn't mean it's bad, or that it's not amazing in it's own way. Edgar Allen Poe didn't get famous by being pleasant.
I just finished reading Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy. It's a story with virtually no plot, it's just 300 odd pages of murder, insanity, and general horror. And yet, it's widely considered one of the greatest works of the past 50 years.
Whoever sent that letter seems to think there is no darkness in people, and that we should avoid and ignore anything that might be offensive to our sensibilities. That's a bad way to live life and a horribly ignorant way to look at the world.

Another weak minded invidual has felt the urge to complain about something he/she doesn't understand. People are sick, true but your art is nowhere near it. Think about all the other phenomenons humans produce, your art is only so different that people don't understand it.
I love your work, the style and the whole concept just is so magical, dark and lovely twisted.
The one who sees your art as horrible and feels sick, should stay away from places like this and take a look in the mirror. To me your "fan" sounds a bit hypocritical.

Yeah, its kind of what you say, guy/girl of hate mail... but its not as you think it is... its just... i mean.. ah whatever hes the one whos doing this... its his vision of something... maybe hell maybe paradise... its not suposed to be beautyfull... maybe looking at those we can see how beautyfull life is... dont know, art is for the beholder... , everyone has to draw their own... I always love it when artists of all kinds post hate mail for others to enjoy! Thank you! I personally really like your dioramas and If you have not gotten into stop motion yet... your art would be an excellent addition to the genre! a virtual Bothers Quay meets Resident evil-ish.
